Bulenga| Vincent Mugwanya, a prominent counselor and mobilizer for
the National Unity Platform (NUP), has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to
his community by organizing a free medical camp in Bulenga. This initiative is part of his broader
mission to improve healthcare accessibility and quality for the residents of his constituency.

The medical camp, held at Bulenga Health Centre, provided free health check-ups and treatments
to over 500 residents. A team of volunteer doctors and nurses conducted various medical services,
including blood pressure checks, diabetes screening, dental care, eye examinations, and maternal
health services. The health centre, which was bustling with activity, became a beacon of hope for
many who had been struggling with health issues but could not afford medical care.

Another resident, Maria Namatovu, a mother of three, said, “I brought my children for check-ups
and vaccinations. This camp has relieved us of the burden of medical expenses.”
In addition to the medical services, the camp also included health education sessions where
residents were informed about hygiene, nutrition, and preventive measures against common
diseases. Volunteers distributed informational brochures and demonstrated proper handwashing
techniques, aiming to instill healthy habits in the community.

of maternal and infant mortality in the region. Pregnant women received prenatal check-ups and
were given essential supplies, including vitamins and mosquito nets to protect against malaria.
