Rubaga North Member of Parliament, Moses Kasibante has been admitted at Case Hospital in Kampala in critical condition.

He has apparently been suffering from fever and stomachache for over a week but receiving treatment from home.

However, on Wednesday his condition worsened, and was rushed by relatives to Rubaga Hospital at about 8.30 pm but was later transferred to Case Hospital where he was still receiving treatment.

Kasibante on Thursday morning spoke on phone to some journalists and confirmed the rumours that he was indeed sick.

“Yes I have been sick for almost a week, but yesterday I was taken to Rubaga and the doctors later transferred me to Case Hospital,” Kasibante was heard on phone telling a reporter in a low tone.

He added that several tests had been conducted and he was able to receive some results but he was still waiting for more.

He, however, said he had got some relief after the treatment but he did not elaborate whether the tests carried out included COVID-19.

He is being attended to by his wife.
