Kampala police are investigating allegations that former Masaka Woman MP flag bearer Justine Nameere and her husband attacked singer and presidential advisor Jennifer Full Figure. The incident, now widely referred to as the Justine Nameere Full Figure case, reportedly occurred along Kyadodo Road on August 29, 2025.
According to her statement, Full Figure — real name Jennifer Namutebi Nakangubi — said she was intercepted on her way to a hotel press conference organized by political mobilizer Moses Kalangwa. She alleges that Nameere and her husband physically assaulted her, stealing her phone and UGX 500,000 in cash. Though shaken, she did not suffer serious injuries.
Police Probe into the Case
Police spokesperson SSP Patrick Onyango confirmed that detectives have registered a case of assault and robbery. Officers have already recorded witness statements and visited the scene to gather evidence.
“The complainant’s statement has been recorded, and inquiries point to an altercation involving known persons. Investigations are ongoing,” Onyango said.
Public Spotlight on High-Profile Figures
The Justine Nameere Full Figure case has drawn attention because of the prominence of those involved. Full Figure is a musician and outspoken presidential advisor, while Nameere is a media personality and politician who previously contested as the NRM flag bearer for Masaka Woman MP.
As investigations continue, Ugandans are closely following the developments, with many calling for transparency and accountability in handling the case.
